A laptop may be brought on a flight, yes. In general, laptops are permitted in both carry-on and checked luggage. However, for security and safety concerns as well as to make sure it is secured during the journey, it is typically advised to bring your laptop in your carry-on luggage. Typically, you'll have to take your laptop out of its backpack or case before passing through the security checkpoint so that it may be examined independently. The purpose of doing this is to provide the security staff a clear view of the laptop and all of its parts. |
